Pic-Time makes premium galleries and pairs them with an AI-driven store and marketing automation that genuinely converts to print sales. For photographers whose business runs on print revenue, that store is the draw. CuratePics competes on the opposite end: the boring fundamentals underneath delivery, built to be provably reliable rather than to sell prints.
Where Pic-Time is strong
Its galleries look premium, the AI store and automated marketing drive print sales better than most, it has face recognition today, and it offers free migration to bring your existing galleries across. If print-sales conversion is your priority, Pic-Time is built for it.
Where CuratePics is different
- Never silently drops a delivered gallery. The failure that has burned photographers elsewhere — a delivered gallery removed over a storage policy — is structurally impossible here. Read how →
- Uploads that don’t fail. Resumable, checksum-verified uploads: a file isn’t “done” until it’s provably intact, and a dropped connection resumes rather than restarting the batch.
- EU data residency. GDPR-native, stored and served from the EU.
- No client login, unlimited downloads. Clients view and download in one tap, with no account and no bandwidth throttling.
The honest trade: Pic-Time has a mature print store and face recognition today; we don’t have a store and face-grouping is still on our roadmap. We’re the better choice when reliability and permanence matter more than an in-gallery sales channel.
Switching from Pic-Time
Re-upload your delivered sets and send new links — no lock-in. If a storage-policy deletion is what’s driving your search, that specific failure can’t happen on CuratePics, by design.

Frequently asked questions
Is CuratePics a good Pic-Time alternative?
If your priority is that delivered galleries stay delivered and uploads never fail, yes. Pic-Time is strong on premium galleries and print-sales automation. CuratePics is built around the fundamentals underneath — verified uploads and a structural guarantee that a delivered gallery is never auto-removed.
Does CuratePics have face recognition like Pic-Time?
Face-grouping ("find photos of me") is our first roadmap feature, sequenced first after launch. Pic-Time ships it today; we're honest that we don't yet. Everything else — reliability, EU residency, no client login — is live now.
Will CuratePics ever delete a gallery I've delivered?
No. A shared gallery is excluded from every automated quota and retention job by design. If we ever enforce a storage limit we block new uploads and tell you first — we never remove delivered work.
