Terms of Service

1 Acceptance

By creating an account or using CuratePics, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a studio or organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to bind it.

2 The service

CuratePics is a client-gallery delivery platform: you upload photographs, we host them on EU infrastructure, and your clients view and download them from branded galleries with no account required. Features on the public roadmap are described as such and are not part of the current service until released.

3 Your account

• You’re responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate details and keep them current.
• Accounts are for the photographer or studio that registers them; team seats are available on eligible plans.

4 Your content

You own your content. Uploading it grants us only the limited licence needed to run the service — to store, process, generate previews of, and deliver your galleries on your instruction. We claim no ownership, and we do not use your clients’ photographs to train models or for advertising.

You’re responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for your use of others’ likenesses, consistent with applicable law.

5 Acceptable use

Don’t use CuratePics to store or share unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, attempt to breach security, or resell the service as your own. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other users at risk — with notice wherever possible.

6 Billing & plans

• Transparent pricing — plans are priced per photographer. Paid plans renew until cancelled.
• No commission — we take no cut of any sales you make; your margins are yours.
• Grace, not cliffs — if a payment fails, we notify you and provide a grace window before any restriction.
• Cancellation — cancel anytime; your plan runs to the end of the current period.

7 Availability & your data

We target the reliability commitments published on our Trust & security page and store your data in the EU. You can export your data, and deletions are soft-deleted and recoverable within a retention window.

8 Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach of these Terms, giving notice and a chance to cure where reasonable. On termination you’ll have a window to export your content before deletion, subject to the guarantee above for already-delivered galleries.

9 Warranty & liability

We work hard to make CuratePics reliable, but the service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10 Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the “last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable EU jurisdiction stated in your order, and disputes are subject to its courts.
